HamField — Field service dispatch software for small mobile crews
Turn install and repair jobs from calls and spreadsheets into a status-tracked dispatch loop: three taps for the technician, checklist, parts and documented close.
HamField is field dispatch software for a small install-and-repair crew: assignment, a short technician path, an offline queue and documented close — without claiming hardware GPS or a global FSM suite.
- Best for
- Install and repair teams of about 5–20 technicians
- Use when
- Dispatch is still phone and spreadsheet
- Instead of
- Calls, WhatsApp and Excel — not Salesforce Field Service
- License
- Annual standard license; hardware GPS is separate
Introduction
Built for a small field crew, not an enterprise FSM
When coordination is phone-only, ETA, parts and “is it done?” stay fuzzy. HamField is for that 5–20 person install or repair team: the office dispatches, the technician works a short mobile path, and a job can still be queued when the signal drops.
The live demo shows a map and WhatsApp ETA with honest “queued (demo)” labels. Hardware GPS, paid map APIs and a live operator gateway are out of the base license.
If you still call a technician to learn whether the job closed, the demo closes that gap in about ten minutes.
Problem
Where phone-and-Excel field work breaks
Verbal dispatch hides who is free, what is en route and which parts were used. The office cannot see on-site progress, and disputes start when the customer says the work was unfinished.
Rework, missed windows and end-of-day reports that are guesses — not a job record.
- Jobs assigned by call, not by skill, region or availability
- No shared en-route / on-site / done status
- Checklists, photos and parts left in chat
- No customer confirmation after close
- No honest view of delay or technician load
Solution
How HamField keeps office and field on one job
A job is created, assigned and worked with three technician taps: on my way, arrived, close. Checklists and parts sit on the same mobile page. If the signal drops, the demo queue holds the update until sync.
Dispatchers see the queue, a labelled demo map and a customer track link. Live satellite GPS is not claimed.
- Dispatch by region, skill and availability
- Three-tap technician path on a phone
- On-site checklist, parts, photo and signature
- Tangible offline queue in the demo
- Customer ETA link without installing an app
Capabilities
What a small field team actually clicks
Every item below is in the live demo — or is explicitly scoped after consultation.
Office dispatch
Assign by region, skill and technician status so the right person gets the job.
Short technician path
Three taps on the phone: on my way, arrived, close — no nested admin menus.
Checklist, parts, signature
Close on site with evidence so post-visit disputes drop.
Tangible offline queue
Simulate a dropped signal, see local queue items, then sync. Background enterprise sync is not claimed.
Map with demo GPS label
Job pins and sample technician positions. Hardware GPS and paid map APIs are not in the demo.
ETA and track link
WhatsApp/SMS templates queued with a demo badge. A live operator gateway is separate.
How it works
The job cycle you can walk in the demo
Office to site in one loop — under fifteen minutes.
Create and dispatch
Log the site, priority and skill; assign the technician.
Three taps in the field
On my way, arrived, close after required checklist items.
Queue if the signal drops
The demo offline page holds the note until you sync.
Customer follow-up
Share a no-login track link and a queued demo ETA.
Best fit
A good fit for
Small and mid-size install or repair crews that will not buy a global FSM suite.
- Install, repair and maintenance teams with about 5–20 technicians
- Operations still run on phone, WhatsApp and a spreadsheet
- Teams that need on-site checklists, parts and a signature
- Crews that want a technician PWA, not a native app on day one
Not a fit
Not the right fit for
HamField is not Salesforce Field Service and not a hardware fleet tracker.
- Desk-only businesses with no on-site technicians
- A need for live hardware GPS and fleet telemetry from day one
- An enterprise logistics programme that wants a global FSM suite
Differentiation
Why the annual license is priced for a small crew
You are buying dispatch, a technician PWA and documented close for a local team — not a feature-for-feature match with global FSM. Hardware GPS and operator SMS are outside the base license.
Small-team price story
Sized for 5–20 technicians without the cost of an enterprise FSM.
Short field path
Three taps the technician can finish in a sales walkthrough.
Honest offline
You can touch the local queue in the demo; we do not over-claim sync.
Demo-labelled map and ETA
Status is visible; live satellite GPS is not sold as included.

FAQ
FAQ
Who is HamField for?
A small install, repair or maintenance crew — typically 5–20 technicians — still dispatching by phone and spreadsheet.
Why is the license higher than some Hamranik products?
Field dispatch needs office and technician roles, a PWA path and documented close. It is priced for that small crew, not as a Salesforce Field Service replacement.
Is offline visible in the demo?
Yes. You can simulate a dropped signal, see the local queue and sync. Enterprise background sync is out of the demo.
Is the map live GPS?
No. Pins use sample coordinates with an honest demo label. Hardware GPS and paid map APIs are not in the base license.
Does the technician install a separate app?
No. The field path is a mobile web / PWA. A native store app is not required for standard deployment.
Are ETA WhatsApp messages really sent?
The demo queues them with a “queued (demo)” badge. A live operator gateway is scoped in consultation.
Can it connect to parts inventory or CRM?
Yes, after consultation — that work is integration, not the base license.
What does the annual license include?
Standard deployment and minor updates. Deep integrations, training at scale and hardware GPS are separate.
